Chantelle Symonds and Stadmorslows Coffee’n’Cream headed both the Novice 37 & 38 and Elementary 42 & 44 Dressage Winter League Finals at Cricklands in March 2014. The Bradford-on-Avon rider, who qualified at West Wilts Equestrian Centre, headed both Novice classes to win on a total score of 135.3; she also won Elementary 42 with 74.4 points before coming second in the decider, giving her a 1.7 lead over her nearest rival.

Also qualifying from West Wilts were Sarah Mitchell Sheppard from Salisbury on Tetouan Bailey and Patricia Haskins (Royal Wootton Bassett) riding Pixie Jay. Sarah headed the Novice 24 & 27 Finals with a close second place (N27/70.8) and a win (N24/73.6); she also came fourth in the Elementary 42 & 44 Final, just 2.4 behind Chantelle. Patricia almost made it a double when finishing runner-up in the Prelim 12 & 18 Final, just 0.3 behind winners Becky Gibbons and Duckey Bank from Bramley in Hampshire. Patricia had won the opening class with Becky back in third but in the P12 Becky pulled out all the stops to overhaul her rival on a score of 72.8.

Jessica McConkey from Watlington, Oxfordshire, rode Briery Hill Bossman to victory in the 16 and Under Prelim 4 & 7 after she took the lead in both classes, scoring 73.1 and 67.7. In the adult Prelim 4 & 7 the honours went to Claire Pratley from Chippenham. Riding Chopper into the lead with 74.0 in the P7, Claire just managed to hang on when coming a close fourth in her second class, finishing with an overall margin of 1.9.
