Royal Veterinary College and Buckingham Equine join forces

One of the country’s leading academic institutions, the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) announced a collaboration with Buckingham Equine Vets (BEV) this Spring, designed to advance the standards of veterinary education and the care of injured and rehabilitating horses, ponies and donkeys.
The announcement coincided with the opening of BEV’s new purpose built and fully equipped equine clinic in Wicken, near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. The collaboration will allow the vets of the future, veterinary nurses, and qualified vets to develop their clinical skills at a modern veterinary practice. At the same time it will offer clients of the Buckingham-based practice the latest diagnostic and treatment services, combined with support from world-leading experts in the equine veterinary field at the Royal Veterinary College.
The partnership was formally launched with the opening of the new clinic by Professor Stuart Reid, Principal of the RVC.
Director of BEV, Andrew Wallace commented: “To enter into this exciting agreement with the RVC, is a major development for our veterinary practice and we are honoured to join in partnership with one of the world’s most renowned veterinary institutions. It will enable us to advance further the equine care we provide to our fantastic clients.”
