Countrywide Farmers plc, which provides products and services to meet the business and lifestyle needs of people who live and work in the countryside, or simply just enjoy country life, has announced a new store set to open in Banbury later this month. The new store will be located at Banbury Cross Retail Park and will be creating 15 new jobs in the area.
On Saturday 30th May, a new Countrywide store will be having its grand opening at Banbury Cross Retail Park; with various family-orientated events set to take place to mark the launch. Opening events will take place between 10am and 2pm, with plenty of activities for all ages to get involved with.
The new Countrywide store, which will boast an extensive range of products covering everything for the country life, from dog walking and horse riding to keeping chickens, gardening and country clothing, will be taking over the unit at the retail park that was previously Comet, next to Maplin Electronics.
The local Mayor and representatives from Countrywide’s company charity, Dogs for the Disabled, will be cutting the ribbon at 10am, with free refreshments available for those visiting the store for its grand opening.
Children can enjoy free face painting and anyone can have a go at the spin the wheel game with fun prizes up for grabs. The grand opening of the new Banbury Countrywide store will also see various offers available during the launch weekend across big name brands such as, Hunter, Joules, Ariat, Royal Canin and Karcher, with a special 20% off voucher having been circulated in the local area.
Visitors to the store launch are also encouraged to bring their dogs along with them to take advantage of free pet health checks, which are being provided by national animal charity, the PDSA.
There will also be exclusive offers for Countrywide’s reward scheme, Countryclub, during launch weekend. Existing Countryclub members and people who sign up to become a member can take advantage of a better than half price offer on Hunter wellies.
John Hardman, CEO of Countrywide Farmers plc, said the following about the Banbury store opening:
“We have some very exciting plans for expansion, all starting with the opening of our new Countrywide store at Banbury Cross Retail Park. The grand opening is a matter of weeks away now and we have plenty of great activities set to take place that will make the event a great day for the whole family.
“We encourage people to come along to see what the new store has to offer, whether you’re looking for new horse riding accessories or feed, treats or food for your pet or big name clothing brands, we have a great selection of products that are going to be available and some really exciting offers to mark the grand opening too.”
The Banbury store will become the 54th Countrywide store to open in the UK and 15 jobs will be created in the local area as a result of the opening.
