Sign up to the new Equine website from Norbrook and be in with a chance to win horsey goodies worth £100!!
Norbrook is a market leading global manufacturer of large, small and equine pharmaceutical and animal health products. Including horse wormers, omeprazole, antibiotics and anti-inflammatories for the equine sector.
Norbrook is very excited to announce the launch of the Norbrook Equine website; a site where you can read regular up-to-the minute articles on equine health conditions including: Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS), worming, arthritis and oral rehydration amongst other topics of interest. All articles are reviewed by our vets to ensure that the information is practical, current and correct.
The website has it’s own in house veterinary surgeon, Douglas Palmer who you can write to and he will respond to frequently asked questions and queries.*
As well as providing equine health information, there will be regular competitions and a chance for you to share your own stories with the company.
The first article in the series is ‘Golden Rules of Worming’, which takes you through the essentials of good worming practice to ensure the continued health of your horse, without over-using worming treatments.
Golden Rule 1: Planning
Golden Rule 2: Testing
Golden Rule 3: Know Your Horses Worms
Golden Rule 4: Know Your Wormer
During these warm and wet months it is advisable that you work closely with your vet or suitable qualified person to devise a worming plan to suit your horse.
Norbrook sponsored riders will be adding on their top ten tips throughout the coming months, so watch out for how to get your horse ready and fit for competition.
The first 100 people to sign up will be put into a hat to receive a hamper of horsey goodies worth £100. (Includes a saddle pad, Easy Wormer head piece, weigh tape and £50 vouchers from a leading equine outlet to spend on you or your horse)
*Douglas Palmer will not be a replacement for your own vet, so do not rely on a quick answer.

Central Horse News What’s On and NAF are giving you the opportunity to tell us why your horse is so special to you.
He or she may be young or old, happy hacker or competition horse, large or small, and they may be your ‘Hero’ for looking after you when you ride, overcoming an illness, or have a quirky habit that makes you laugh. Then again, they may just be plain ‘perfect’. We’re all ears to hear about them and will pick one entrant each issue as our featured ‘horsey celebrity’. Email us a photo of your horse with 200 – 300 words of text on why they should be featured in Central Horse News What’s On magazine and please also tell us if you have a favourite NAF product that you’ve used in caring for your special friend.
To take part, email us your text and photo along with your full name and contact details.
This month the published entrant will WIN a selection of NAF’s NaturalintX products.
“NaturalintX is absolutely fabulous, especially the MSM Ointment and poultices. I now have the most superb first aid kit, just in case. It will help me keep my horses in best condition, throughout the show season and I would thoroughly recommend everyone checks that they are well stocked with the correct kit!”
