Celebrity, couture milliner Lisa Von Hallwyl has created a one of a kind pink hat to be auctioned on behalf of women’s charity Breast Cancer Care at Ladies Day at Bath Racecourse on Saturday 30th August.
The exclusive hat is bright pink and has been designed around a traditional trilby hat with intricate bow and brooch detailing made up of Swarovski crystals. Perfect for day or night or whatever the season, the hat hopes to attract women looking for something truly unique and special to add to their hat collection whilst helping raise money for this years supported charity Breast Cancer Care.
Lisa Von Hallwyl, couture milliner and owner of Lisa Von Hallwyl Millinery said, “It’s a pleasure and a privilege to make such a special hat for Ladies Day and their charity auction on behalf of Breast Cancer Care. I wanted to create something that would be a perfect all-rounder but with that little bit of extra sparkle to make it a bit more special. This hat in particular is inspired by the delicate orchid flower with two delicate bows formed together and finished with sparkly crystals that are very girly and pretty. I hope the lucky auction winner enjoys it as much as I did making it.”
The pink hat auction will take place in the afternoon alongside the prize-giving for Best Dressed, Best Shoes and of course Best Hat Competition. For more information on Lisa Von Hallwyl’s exclusive bespoke hat creations or collections please see: http://www.lvhdesigns.co.uk/

As if acres of incredible equestrian shopping and demonstrations by some of the world’s best riders weren’t enough, Your Horse Live is delighted to announce that this year’s event will be playing host to Olympic dressage superstar Carl Hester MBE.
Whatever your discipline, if you love horses and riding make a date in your diary for November 8 and 9, so you can catch the Olympic gold medallist’s demonstrations in the show’s main arena. Raised on the tiny Channel Island of Sark, where horses (and the odd tractor!) are the only form of transport, Carl has risen through the ranks to become one of the best dressage riders this country has ever produced. With numerous major championship wins under his belt, Carl has taken British dressage to a new level, and his career highlight came at the London 2012 Olympic Games, where he won team gold with teammates Charlotte Dujardin and Laura Tomlinson.
Alongside his own achievements, Carl’s incredible talent has led to a unique training partnership with fellow rider Charlotte, helping her and her much-loved horse Valegro, who is part owned by Carl, to their spectacular victory in the individual competition at London 2012.Often praised for his determination to allow his competition horses to be horses, Carl’s training methods and philosophies have seen him reap reward after reward, and no doubt fans will be keen to get an insight into how he sympathetically produces youngsters from the beginning of their careers through to Grand Prix level, as well as hear about the lives of the world-beating horses that call his Gloucestershire yard home.
Wherever he appears, Carl’s demonstrations always prove highly popular and with his wealth of experience his Your Horse Live demonstrations are guaranteed to be fun and informative.
