Charity Overwhelmed By Equestrian Support

Posted on Thursday, September 6, 2018 by Sasha Melia

Following the theft of their van along with all of their trade stand stock en route to the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials,  equestrian Charity, the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund were determined to carry on regardless.

Despite losing everything in their van, the Charity was able to turn things around and were overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of spirit they encountered at their stand, as Rosemary Lang, Administrator and Fund Co-ordinator explains:

“We are still stunned at how supportive the equestrian community has been, from comments left on our social media pages through to visitors at Burghley who kindly made donations.”

“Ironically when we arrived at Burghley, we had a call from an equestrian in need and this year more than ever, the Charity needs financial support in order to ensure that we never have to turn anyone away in their hour of need.”
