Litton Enterprise wins the hotly contested Virbac 3D Worming Show Pony Personality of the Year 2017

A Partbred Riding Pony was voted winner of the Virbac 3D Worming Show Pony Personality of the Year 2017 at the Showing Council/Showing World Show Personality of the Year Awards.

Over 500 guests gathered in the atrium at the East of England Showground on Saturday 21st October to watch the spectacular awards ceremony and enjoy a night of fine food, dancing and socialising in what is generally considered to be the end of season celebration party of the year!

Litton Enterprise is no stranger to the limelight. Produced to perfection by leading pony producer Julie Templeton, the award crowned an impressive year for this stunning pony and his young rider.

Beautifully ridden by 15 year old Phoebe Price, Litton Enterprise is a double RIHS champion and stood Supreme Pony Champion at HOYS in 2016. The pair made a triumphant return to HOYS in 2017, standing Equissage Pulse Ridden Partbred of the Year.

The runner up from a category of six finalists that represented the cream of ponies in the UK was Parkhill Beckham, a 133cm Show Hunter Pony owned by Samantha Duncan, a consistent performer who has qualified for and been placed at HOYS on multiple occasions.  He qualified for RIHS first time out in 2017.

Virbac’sDavina Godwin presented the Virbac 3D Worming Show Pony Personality of the Year with a fabulous optical crystal trophy, rosette, certificate and stunning sash. In addition, the winner received an embroidered Virbac rug; all finalists received a rosette, certificate and 3D Worming goody bag.

The Virbac 3D Worming Show Pony Personality of the Year is open to all ponies that compete in ridden classes, including lead rein and firstridden, working pony, flat ridden and in-hand, covering all types of animals. From thousands of nominations, the six finalists are picked by a panel of judges, these finalists go forward to a public vote that decides the winner.
