Oaksey Night Fun Ride

The Oaksey Fun Ride is an event with a difference, for as well as encouraging riders to take part during the day, a night ride is also planned.
Have a great day out with your horse or pony, while supporting the VWH and the IJF. Enjoy the gentle rolling Cotswold countryside, through woods, fields and down tracks; a wonderful environment to ride safely off road. Oaksey has a rich history for horses, having been home to Steeplechases and Hunter Trials going back well over 100 years.
For the more adventurous there is a Night Ride around a shortened course if weather permits. “We will be making the most of this years summer solstace and simultanious full moon” explain the organisers.
The First Ride is at 10am, and the last at 10pm. All income is being shared between the Injured Jockeys Fund and The VWH Hunt.
