The winner of our June ‘In the Ribbons’ feature is Amy Bird, seen here with her horse Connor sporting his rosette. Amy tells us: ” We went to the North Wilts Saddle Club Dressage on the 27th April 2014. He did a great test and got 67.5 and we won. I love Connor so much!
Amy will receive a prize from one of our sponsors, Harry Hall and Tottie Clothing.
Amy is just one of the riders who submitted a photo for our online feature which will be published each month on our website and e-newsletter.
Other local riders in the ribbons recently are Clara Dews (age 13) seen here riding her pony – Kerandi Rubywiz (Chestnut), with her pal Grace Hopkins (age 12) riding Spot On. The friendcs won the pairs jumping at Tackley Horse Show on 27th April. Earlier in the day, Clara and Ruby also won the 2′ 9″ pony jumping class. There was success at another recent event for Grace, when they they were part of Bloxham School Team who won the 90cm class at Princethorpe College show jumping competition.

Have you been ‘In the Ribbons’ recently?
To celebrate your success by getting your photo featured, simply send a photo of yourself and your horse at a current season show or event (any type), holding or wearing your 1st place rosette, along with show name, date, and name of horse and rider. It’s simplest to get a friend or relative to take a snap of you at the event, but make sure the picture quality is clear and the filesize is at least 1MB to ensure publication quality. Professional photographs MUST include the photographer’s permission in writing for it to be used online for this purpose.
You could win a prize from www.tottie.co.uk or www.harryhall.co.uk. There will be a monthly prize draw from those submitting ‘In the Ribbons’ entries, and the winner of the prize draw will be featured in the next issue of CHN’s printed magazine too!
