Anne Coombs from Reading wrote to us recently with a poignant story: “Having to make a decision to put to sleep my beloved thoroughbred “Bug” who had kissing spines…. a week later, I was offered the most lovely horse called Joe on permanent loan.

Our first trip out together was show jumping at Checkendon Equestrian Centre SJ pn 15 March 2014 less than a week into taking him on and we won the 2ft3 SJ at our first outing together.  I was so proud of him!!

Jo is pictured above.  His show name is Crillea Bobby Joe and he LOVES his jumping and makes me smile all the time.  I didn’t think after losing Bug anything could make me happy but this chap has proved me wrong.”
