Welcome to Hampden Veterinary Hospital’s Equine Practice, Baskerville Horgan & Partners. Our RCVS Accredited Practice has been established for 80 years, with our Equine Practice serving clients across the Thames Valley, Chilterns and Aylesbury Vale.

Our 9 very experienced equine veterinary surgeons are dedicated solely to our Equine Practice, which ensures they are able to provide the full range of equine veterinary services personalised for your requirements.

Our clients range from the many individual horse and pony recreational riders, through to livery yards, competition horses, professional racing yards and studs.

Our Equine Practice is based out of our purpose equipped Barrettstown Equine Clinic in Whitchurch, just outside of Aylesbury. In addition to the clinical facilities, the clinic has its own paddock, ménage and indoor school should these be required.

Oakham Veterinary Hospital is one of the UK’s leading equine hospitals and provides veterinary services throughout the East Midlands. Our aim is to provide a consistently excellent standard of care to our patients and to offer clients a professional and friendly service they can trust.

Oakham Veterinary Hospital is fully approved as a tier 3 RCVS equine hospital which ensures the highest level of facilities, equipment, staff and service is guaranteed. We are a referral centre both for our own clients and to practices in the area and as such are able to undertake all investigations, treatments and surgery to the highest standard.

The hospital team is led by our 3 senior partners who are supported by a team of 3 assistant vets, 2 interns and 7 nurses. In addition we also have a clinical association with The University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science meaning we have 3 vets permanently based with us that provide specialist veterinary care in both medicine and surgery.
