Blenheim International Horse Trials September 2015

What began with a soggy start at the Trot Up at the Blenheim International Horse Trials, continued with good weather, and ended with excellent weather, making David Evans’ XC fences look magnificent.  The going was perfect so the riders were happy and the many spectators enjoyed the sun making a rare appearance this season.  Jonelle Price again won the CIC*** 8/9 YO, this time with Cloud Dancer II – a Kiwi based in Wiltshire, with her husband Tim, who was 5th on The Court Jester in the CCI***.   Kitty King continued her hugely successful season with a 3rd on Ceylor Lan in CCI***. Clark Montgomery, an American based in Goucestershire, won the CCI*** on the wonderful Loughan Glen – this being their biggest win to date.
