British Show Jumping at Herefordshire Country Fair, 4th August 2013

Aramstone Ring, Hampton Court Castle & Gardens

There was some exciting competition throughout the day in the Aramstone Ring where Steve Williams built some good tracks for all five classes of top-class show jumping.  The arena preparation paid off with the ground holding up well despite the poor weather conditions.

Once again excellent prize money was on offer provided by the generous sponsors:  Old Forge Tack Shop, Wormbridge, A Taste of Wales, Abergavenny, Callow Marsh Dacia, Hereford, NFU Mutual, Ross on Wye, Cobb Property Ltd, Hereford, Charles Mayson Ltd, Madley.

Defending champions Mark Edwards and Mama’s Tinker  (pictured above) retained the NFU Mutual Ross on Wye trophy in the 1.30m National Qualifier, with the Orles Barn Restaurant trophy this year going to Stevie Jenkins riding Nolton Its Oscar.

Richard Tesh and Tony Hackett once again officiated to ensure the smooth running of all classes throughout the day.
