Oliver Townend from Shropshire so nearly made it a clean sweep at the Festival 7-9 August 2015. He won the Dodson & Horrell British Novice Championship with Sonic de Sermentol (and took 2nd place with Ridire Dorcha) and also the Smith & Williamson British Intermediate Championship with Note Worthy. Oliver was 4th in the Open with Armada, just .8 behind Nicola Wilson and Beltane Queen who took the National Title.
An exciting addition to the Festival was The TopSpec Challenge for The Corinthian Cup held at Restricted Novice level, for amateur riders. Mark Phillips designed a brand new novice XC course built by the David Evans team and also the Willis Brothers.
Camilla Browne and Wills Rebel who were 8th in The TopSpec Challenge for the Corinthian Cup won the Sarah Staples Memorial Trophy for the highest placed rider from Wiltshire/Gloucestershire. Camilla is based in Gloucestershire.
