ARE you interested in your horse’s anatomy and biomechanics, and how that has a related effect on so many other aspects of their health and well-being.

Gillian Higgins and Horses Inside Out will be appearing at HorseFest, the new summer festival for horse lovers to be held at Kelsall Hill in Cheshire, July 8 to 10.

During the demonstrations you will be able to watch Gillian paint the musculoskeletal system on the side of a horse, ask your own questions then, listen to a series of fascinating developmental talks relating to posture and performance.

Said Gillian: “HorseFest is a fantastic new idea that really will bring together like-minded horse lovers in a wonderful setting where they can learn, catch up and have fun all at the same time.”

Horses Inside Out gives all horse lovers, whether horse owners, riders, trainers or professionals, a thought-provoking insight into equine locomotion, training and management from an anatomical perspective.

Performance psychologist Charlie Unwin and natural horseman Jason Webb are also set to entertain with their ‘Meeting of Minds’ demonstration, which will see two of the very best in the industry develop both horse and rider on their journey together.

Jason is a leading horse trainer specialising in starting young horses under saddle and solving behavioural and ridden problems.

He works with riders of all levels, across all disciplines, applying his techniques and experience to develop safe, confident and responsive riding horses, and teaching his methods via clinics, camps, demonstrations and his online horse training resource, Your Horsemanship.

Charlie is a modern pentathlete and performance psychologist.   It was during his time as an athlete that Charlie’s passion for psychology grew and he gained a further MSc in Sport Psychology at Brunel University.

He then became the lead performance psychologist for the GB Olympic Skeleton Team.

Charlie now works with a diverse range of clients including competitive equestrians helping them perform consistently at their best. He delivers keynotes, coaching and workshops, sharing his insights into mental performance, team environment, leadership, coaching and resilience.
