Bradenstone based Leonne George and her Thoroughbred gelding Whippy won the first class of the day, the Walk and Trot Championship. “Whippy came from an abusive background but he is a sweet horse who I love and hope to bring on for eventing” says his owner. Leanne’s main interest is British Show Jumping, but she’s been enjoying dressage this summer too.

The Prelim 13 Championship was won by Little Miss Attitude, a 17.2hh TB x ID mare ridden by Jacqui Taylor-Collins. The pair enjoy BE events and at time of writing were aiming for the Milton Keynes Three Day Event.

Sophie Andrews and her Irish mare, Playtime II won the Novice 39. An Avonvale PC member, Sophie enjoys eventing and has represented Stonar School as well as her club.

Top of the leader board in the Elementary 53 was Zoredia, ridden by Jessica Yeung. The warmblood mare is an ex-driving horse.
