A poignant day at Wheatley Horse Show 2014,

Some of the helpers and the end of a busy day
Well, the Show went ahead with a great deal of help from Bicester Riding Club, writes organiser Lyn Shew.
Many people donated a pound to wear a coloured ribbon in memory of Kate Shew who died from cancer the week before. Kate was my right hand person since the beginning and she will be sadly missed by many of us.
The Show was very successful with over 120 people competing.
Holly Hall from Murcott riding her new horse Daddie’s Dollars. Holly’s previous horse died from cancer two months ago and Daddie’s Dollars know at home as Ghost, was bought to replace her horse. It’s a partnership that has worked very well and they had a great day at WHS.
